The Migrating Birds jewelry collection is a collection that I started in Lebanon before knowing that I would be soon going to Canada.
Once in Canada, I made these illustrations, pictured here above and available on the store as prints, when I got my tickets to go for 3 weeks to "visit" Lebanon for the first time. Usually I visited the world and came back home to Lebanon.
I thought about all the times, my sister, cousins and friends who left Lebanon (my home country) before me, and visited yearly on holidays and how that mouvement is similar to the migration of birds.
Lebanon - that little country by the Mediterranean sea we all love so much yet leave to go elsewhere in search of opportunities - still keeps us coming back yearly for the good company, good weather and good food.
